Background

My life purpose is to uncover my authentic self and guide others to do the same. My primary personality style is driver and visionary, which translates into a natural dominance and readily takes charge of situations, getting things done. I am lively and enthusiastic in my approach. I am highly integrated on a personal mastery level, and I can overcome any obstacles.
My emotional intelligence has developed in self-acceptance, acceptance of reality, curiosity, impact on others. I place a high value on courage and although this gives me the willingness to take chances and weigh up the possibilities that guide quick decision making, even if things are difficult.
My thinking patterns allow me to think big picture and translate it into well-defined action plans. Making a positive change in the lives of others adds meaning to my life. My head dimension is influenced by my years of experience it spans over many different departments, roles that broaden my skill set.
My academic learning as a Ph.D. gave me the ability to conceptualize and find innovative solutions with long term value for organisations and shareholders.
My previous experience let to consulting in different capacities. A recent change led me back into the corporate environment. My passion has always been building capability programs, ensuring the delivery of long-term value, and embedding of change through learning. My career started more than 20 years ago and I had little vision on what my interest was. It started in accounting and move into IT quickly after as support desk operator, moved to the database administrator, implementing new systems and processes. I developed a few programs but not a language that is recognised today. I moved back to management accounting, at a time where BI become a buzz word and was offered an opportunity to set up a Business Information Platform. After successful implementation, I embarked on a different path and jumped into a new career in Sales and understood what passion means. I found myself looking for new challenges and new ways of doing things easier, which led to me taking an opportunity in a role as Sales Development Manager which included a project which restructured the way we sold. It kicked off 8 years of my experience in process engineering and enabling sales forces to be successful. Building systems and structures, capability programs, and change management to go to market strategies and commercialisation. My experiences help me in building skills in leading a team towards the same goal and motivating them to deliver against the objective.
