As a Senior Specialist at FSCA South Africa, I lead research on artificial intelligence, open finance, and decentralized finance, contributing to the evolution of regulatory frameworks. My expertise includes policy development, compliance strategies, and fintech innovation, supported by active roles in the IAIS Fintech Forum and the IFWG. Collaborating with global and local stakeholders, I aim to balance regulatory oversight with technological advancement.
With over two years in this role and more than a decade in the financial services sector, I have co-led initiatives such as the IFWG’s Regulatory Guidance Unit and served as Deputy Chair of its Open Finance Integration Working Group.
