I am a Learning and Development leader and thought practitioner with over 32 years of experience across academic and corporate environments, dedicated to advancing leadership capability and shaping future-ready organisations. As Learning and Development Manager at the SARB Academy, I lead a high-performing team delivering strategic development solutions across leadership development, coaching and mentoring, personal and team effectiveness, and critical business skills, ensuring alignment between learning, organisational priorities, and measurable impact.
My work is anchored in thought leadership at the intersection of leadership, organisational behaviour, and the evolving world of work. I hold a PhD in Organisational Behaviour from the University of Pretoria, and my research, published in the South African Journal of Human Resource Management, explores “Competencies for Leadership Development in Hybrid Work.” This work contributes to the growing body of knowledge on how organisations can build agile, adaptive, and human-centred leadership in increasingly complex environments.
Beyond my executive role, I serve in governance and strategic oversight capacities, including on the BankSETA Board and its committees, where I contribute to shaping national skills development priorities, strengthening institutional governance, and advancing human capital development within the banking sector. These roles enable me to influence learning and development not only at organisational level, but also at the industry and policy levels.
I hold advanced qualifications in Human Resources and Education (Honours and Master’s), and have further strengthened my executive perspective through international programmes with Henley and Wits Business Schools. As a certified Integrative Enneagram practitioner and Leadership Circle coach, I am particularly passionate about developing self-aware, values-driven leaders capable of leading transformation with authenticity and impact.
My professional purpose is to create learning ecosystems that unlock potential, enable performance, and contribute meaningfully to sustainable organisational and societal development. I am equally passionate about knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and engaging with diverse perspectives through travel and cultural exploration.
