I am currently serving as the Group’s AI Lead at Momentum, responsible for accelerating AI efforts responsibly across the group. Prior to this role I was the Group Executive for Data & AI at Old Mutual, where I was responsible for developing and leading the group’s data and AI strategy; including execution through central and federated teams.
I also worked as a Data & Analytics consultant at Mckinsey across Africa, Europe & the Middle East. With Financial services and Public Sector as my main verticals.
I operate at the intersection of strategy, and deep technical delivery — focusing on the hardest, highest-impact AI problems, mainly in financial services.
My core strength lies in helping organizations mobilize the right digital talent, choose the right AI bets fit for their value-chain, build the right foundations to scale, as well as optimizing time-to-value of AI applications.
Outside work; I believe I’m the embodiment of the word “FUN”🤭… I try to spend most of my time with my Wife & two bundles of joy — “learning new ways to do the same thing”, cycling and building kiddies edge AI modules on lightweight Microcontrollers 😝
