Dr. Machiniba Sylvia Sathekge is a seasoned technology leader and entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in Business and ICT across diverse sectors, including Agriculture, Manufacturing, Tax, Audit, Mining, Aviation, Utilities, and Public Services. She has a proven track record of driving strategic initiatives and delivering technology-enabled business transformations. Dr. Sathekge has worked for companies with an international presence, leading teams across multiple countries and bringing a global perspective to her roles. As a Chartered CIO and Professionally Certified CIO, she has successfully led IT strategies, enhanced cybersecurity measures, and managed large-scale projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
In addition to her extensive corporate experience, Dr. Sathekge is the Founder & CEO of eTSHADI Consulting Services, a 100% Black Female-Owned company providing expert IT advisory and “CIO-as-a-Service” solutions. She is passionate about empowering businesses to navigate the digital world and achieve their strategic goals through technology.
