Greg Serandos, Co-Founder of the African Academy of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI), strives to connect Africa with the digital economy by offering masterclasses, courses, consulting, and AI coaching. Additionally, he serves as a Lecturer in Marketing, AI, and Entrepreneurship at the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS) and mentors at the Founder Institute (FI), the world’s leading pre-seed accelerator.
His previous roles encompass advertising and branding at Young & Rubicam and global market development at AT&T and Telkom South Africa, contributing to privatization and IPO preparations.
Greg’s dedication lies in propelling Africa into the AI era, boosting competitiveness and fostering job growth through innovation. He has significant global experience of five years in Tokyo and 15 in South Africa, and currently divides his time between Johannesburg and California. He holds an MBA in International Business and Economics from GIBS.
