She was nominated as CHRO of the Year in 2021.
Jeanett has served as Non-Executive Director on the Boards of various companies for more than 20 years – was most recently the Group HR Executive and Director on the board of JSE listed Sanlam Limited and Sanlam Life, as well as member of the Social, Ethics and Sustainability Committee.
In her community development work, Jeanett previously served on the board of Save the Children South Africa, a global NGO that focuses on the rights of children; the Pan-African Capacity Building Advisory Board as well as the Advisory Board of Chief HR Officer South Africa.
Jeanett holds a Master in Business Leadership and B. Com Business Management (Unisa SBL); Senior Executive Programme (Harvard); Advanced Management Programme (Insead) and M. Phil Management Coaching – in progress(University of Stellenbosch Business School). She started her career as a Professional Nurse and Midwife. Jeanett has presented at conferences/events as a speaker on various topics around HR and leadership. A lifelong learner, lover of nature and travel.
