Hi, I’m Louise Claassen, co-founder and Managing Director of ORBmersive—a space where emerging technologies meet human ingenuity to create transformative learning experiences. My passion lies in designing immersive experiences that spark those “aha” moments, helping individuals and teams see the world in entirely new ways.
For the past six years, I’ve delved deep into the potential of virtual reality (VR) and other cutting-edge technologies to reimagine how we connect, learn, and grow. These tools are not just innovations; they’re gateways to reshaping the way we think and solve problems. Whether in the digital realm or through in-person engagements, I’m excited about creating participative, hands-on learning models that ignite creativity, inspire innovation, and prepare organisations for an ever-evolving future.
At ORBmersive, I work alongside incredible thinkers and creators to bridge practical application and visionary ideas. From VR and the metaverse to generative AI, we push the boundaries of what’s possible in leadership and professional development. Together, we create experiences that don’t just teach but transform.
I’m also proud to be an Executive Fellow and faculty member at Henley Business School Africa, where I co-direct Henley Explore—a centre dedicated to immersive learning and real-world innovation. My journey as a speaker has allowed me to explore what it means to enhance our humanity in an interconnected world, tackling topics from biohacking to navigating our relationships with intelligent machines.
