Pravir Ishvarlal is a data science and AI leader with over a decade of experience applying advanced analytics and AI across financial services and other data-intensive industries. He currently works within Group Risk at Standard Bank, with a focus on service optimisation and AI-enabled transformation. He has also contributed to South Africa’s National AI Strategy and has a particular interest in responsible AI, human-AI collaboration and translating emerging technologies into measurable business value.
