Roger is the founder of Appventure – a company that seeks to empower finance teams with technology they can own. Both he and Appventure sit at the intersection of deep-finance expertise and intrepid innovation.
Roger also consults for PwC South Africa as a Senior Manager, working in both Africa Assurance Innovation and Capital Markets, building bespoke solutions for clients both locally and across the global PwC network.
Roger mentors associates through secondment programmes, has won SAICA’s inaugural Trainee Trailblazer award, placed second as DataSnipper’s Audit MVP of the Year and was a 2023/2024 South African Excel championships finalist. During 2023, Roger was selected as a finalist for SAICA’s prestigious Top 35-Under-35 competition, making him the youngest finalist in the history of the awards. He also won the “Professional Excellence and Career Achievements” category of the PwC Under-35 competition.
Roger explores emerging topics such as generative AI, automation and other forms of technology-based value creation. He has secured experience in markets such as the North America, Europe, Africa and Asia.
